Supporting INK helps us continue our work. We are a charity with no core funding, run by almost all volunteers and so rely on the generosity of private individuals, companies and funding trusts. We'd hugely appreciate your support.

SEE BELOW THE GENEROUS BUSINESSES, TRUSTS AND INDIVIDUALS WHO MADE THE 2023 FESTIVAL POSSIBLE

Each year we produce the INK Festival in Halesworth, Suffolk. In 2023 it was a four day event which enveloped the town with live performance. There were more than 50 new short plays, that were produced by INK, performed several times each day. All were selected from annual submissions and covered a broad base of exciting and relevant topics. During the four days there was also a programme of comedy, musicals, poetry, art, extensive children’s programmes, talks, short films and much more.

INK is a Festival that showcases so much new work and involves hundreds of professional theatre practitioners coming together: writers, actors, directors, poets, comedians, sound and lighting technicians, artists, and many more.

During the Festival thousands of people flood into the town and East Anglia. We aim to encourage a greater awareness and prosperity to the region, as well as a huge injection of theatre and performing arts to East Anglia.

On 17th April we introduced The INK Youth Festival Day, a day when local secondary school students can come, for free, and experience the excitement of live performance theatre.

Next year’s INK Festival will be held on 11th – 14th April 2024.
