Ross Tomlinson wins Bill Cashmore Award
Ross Tomlinson a first time writer, who wrote Lolita Boy for INK 2024 directed by David Frias-Robles won the Bill Cashmore Award for a young writer showing exceptional promise. Kindly supported by Sasha Bates, Bill’s widow.
Bill was an actor, writer and friend. He submitted many plays to INK that we produced, including Daughter, which we transferred to the Pleasance, London in 2017. His plays were always beautifully crafted, interesting, moving and funny. This prize is in his memory. Bill was always supportive of new talent.
