Miranda Hart

Miranda Katherine Hart Dyke is an acclaimed English actress, comedian, and writer, best known for her self-driven semi-autobiographical BBC sitcom Miranda (2009–2015), which earned her three Royal Television Society awards, four British Comedy Awards, and four BAFTA nominations.

Before her own series, Hart appeared in several BBC sitcoms, including Hyperdrive (2006–2007) and Not Going Out (2006–2009), and played Camilla "Chummy" Fortescue-Cholmondeley-Browne in the BBC drama Call the Midwife (2012–2015). She made her Hollywood debut in the action-comedy Spy (2015).

In addition to her acting career, Hart is a bestselling author with five books, including Is It Just Me? (2012), Peggy and Me (2016), and I Haven’t Been Entirely Honest with You (2024). She made history in 2017 by becoming the first solo female presenter of the Royal Variety Performance in 105 years.
