CASTING LISTS ARE NOW FULL…

The INK Festival will showcase around 70 new short plays. Actors will be cast in a POD which will consist of around 4 new plays with 3 – 4 other actors. You will have the opportunity of playing numerous roles. Plays are repeated at least twice every day, each day!

Please do not focus on preparing one or two pieces but make yourself familiar with a selection of extracts within your ‘playing age’ – not your actual age – as you may be asked to read from several during your audition. We welcome variety (e.g accents), as you will be playing a number of characters if you are cast. Don’t worry abuot giving a perfect read, just go for it!

Note on rehearsals! If you are considered for David’s plays, he is currently planning on rehearsing INK part time from w/c 24 March 2025. Rehearsals will be one or two days (maximum) per week, London based and during the daytimes.

Will be coordinated with the other actors and the director in your POD of plays during March/April but you’ll be needed in Halesworth from approximately Monday 21 April 2025. You may be asked to arrive any time between Friday 18 April and Sunday 20 April, to accommodate technical rehearsals.
