Tom Shone
Tom Shone is an American film critic and writer, formerly the Sunday Times film critic (1994–1999). He has contributed to Vogue, Slate, The New Yorker, The New York Times, and The Guardian. His books include Blockbuster: How Hollywood Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Summer (2004), Martin Scorsese: A Retrospective (2014), and Woody Allen: A Retrospective (2015). In 2020, he collaborated with Christopher Nolan on The Nolan Variations, an in-depth exploration of the filmmaker’s work.
